[UPDATED] Construction Notice: Valmer Resort to add Spa & Gym facilities 


Further to below, please note we have been advised by Valmer Resort that they will be extending the date of which the construction works of the Gym & Spa are expected to complete from 30th April 2015 to end of June 2015.



Due to high demands from their guests, Valmer Resort is pleased to announce that they will be adding a spa and gym to the resort.

Spanish Singers Serenade Seychelles


As a warm up to the weekend's Carnaval International de Victoria 2015, the famed Spanish band, 'La Tuna' performed at Eden Plaza on Thursday Evening. The intimate concert was organised by the Seychelles Tourism Board with the support of Mason's Travel and Kreol Wines, whose store front acted as the venue for the event.

UPDATED: Temporary Visa Requirement for Seychelles


Traditionally visitors to the Seychelles do not require a visa regardless of the nationality of the person. However, in view of the recent health concerns on the Ebola virus, the Public Health commissioner has announced certain travel restrictions.

Further to the above, the Department of Immigration and Civil Status has taken note of the seriousness of the health concern raised by the Public Health Commissioner has consequently introduced a temporary visa requirement for the nationals of the following countries:

WTTC 2015: Seychelles to introduce tourist cap

The Seychelles is planning a cap on annual visitor numbers to maintain the destination’s sustainability.

Speaking at the World Travel & Tourism Council’s (WTTC) Global Summit, Seychelles minister of tourism and culture Alain St Ange said work was already underway to come up with a final sum. He said it was being introduced as a way of safeguarding the future of the island which has seen growing numbers of tourists visit the island.

Please note that Paradise Sun will be temporarily closing as from 23rd November 2015 to 11th December 2015 (both dates inclusive) in order to upgrade and update Paradise Sun.

According to the resort, they will be "embarking on a minor infrastructure upgrade to beautify and update Paradise Sun as from the 23 November until 11 December 2015," and have explained that "during this period we will be closing the resort to avoid any inconvenience to guests."

When the Seychelles Tourism Office in Europe, under the auspices of its Director Bernadette Willemin, introduced the concept “Escapades Seychelles,” it contributed positively to raise Seychelles’ visibility in France and Europe. 


“Escapades Seychelles,” moving into different cities and towns, reaching out to travel agents selling Seychelles and its products, has reached Reunion Island and its cities of St. Pierre and St. Denis.

Airline Updates: Air Seychelles

Air Seychelles and Air France Sign MOU 


Air Seychelles and Air France yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), heralding a new era of commercial cooperation between the two carriers.

The agreement was signed at a meeting in Aix en Provence in France between Joël Morgan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Transport and Chairman of Air Seychelles, and Frédéric Gagey, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air France.
