Hotel Updates: Four Seasons Resort Seychelles

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles Upgrades its Butler Programme

“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day,” or so says the old adage. With this is mind Four Seasons Resort Seychelles has created the ultimate breakfast experience for its Suite and Residence Villa guests.

A recent training plan, conducted by the Four Seasons culinary team, under the supervision of Senior Sous Chef Ruwan Nalindra, means that all Butlers at the Resort have been fully trained to be able to prepare and serve a delicious cooked breakfast in the privacy and comfort of the Suites and Residence Villas.

Guests can now enjoy eggs-over-easy, sunny-side-up, scrambled or poached, as they take in stunning views of the Indian Ocean from the deck of their stylish and spacious Creole inspired-accommodation.

The new service is the perfect pairing to the exclusive and private setting of the Suites and Private Residence Villas in the beautiful, tranquil setting of Petite Anse, in the south-west of the Seychelles mainland of Mahé.

The Butler service is an option available to all Suite and Residence guests, providing services like breakfast, and complimentary afternoon cocktails by a private pool, as well as being a personal concierge and event planning service. Whether it’s a yacht charter to discover the smaller islands of the Seychelles, a hike across the spectacular granite landscape, or even a Creole cookery class, your butler will ensure that all the arrangements are made and every personal preference is met.

“We select our Butlers as the best in their field, whether from a Food and Beverage service, Housekeeping, or Guest Services background. Their training with us brings their product and service knowledge in other areas up to the same high standard," says
Director of Residences, Erin Quon.

"By pre-ordering with their Butler the night before, they can enjoy relax and enjoy their stay knowing their breakfast be ready and waiting at a time which is convenient for them. Who wouldn’t want to wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee?" she added.

General Manager Alex Porteous explains the different benefits of Suites and Residences: “Suites are for people looking for a hotel or resort experience with the added luxury and exclusivity and additional bedrooms in the same complex. A Residence villa, on the other hand, is exactly that: a Residential stay; a home away from home; but with the hotel touch and the opportunity to use the fantastic Resort facilities in addition to being able to enjoy the privacy offered by the elite setting in the North and South hills."
