CaranaBeach Hotel on Course for April Launch
Steady progress with construction and finishing works over the past several weeks has Seychelles’ new CaranaBeach Hotel on pace for its opening date in the coming months, the management has announced.
The property, which features 40 chalets overlooking one of the most picturesque bays on the northeast coast of Mahé Island, has entered its final project phase, with the vast majority of structural works now complete.
With interior designers hard at work and furniture scheduled to be moved in next month, the chalets themselves have drawn early praise from the project team, for the way they take
advantage of the property’s unusual topography.
“The colour combinations of the room’s pastel and earth tones look amazing against the backdrop of the bright blues and greens of the sea and landscape,” PR, Branding and Communications Manager Nicole St Ange said. “The mock-ups only gave us a very diluted feel for what the visual impact is like in real life.”

“The marketing team has been excited to see the transformation over the past few weeks,” Director Alan Mason said. “A lot of people have been taken aback how quickly the site has gone from looking like a construction zone to that of a proper hotel.”
The hotel’s front office team and support staff are still scheduled to move into their new offices on-site as of the end of this month, with March largely dedicated to testing and implementing operations prior to the hotel’s soft-opening.
