Hotel Updates: Anse Soleil Beachcomber

Extension of Annual Closure Period June/July 2017


Usually, Anse Soleil Beachcomber, on Mahé Island Seychelles, closes each year for their annual shutdown for the whole month of June and normally re-opening is on 01st July.

However, for next year 2017, the closure will be extended until 09th July inclusive which makes it that the re-opening date will be on Monday 10th July 2017.

The establishment "apologizes for the inconveniences caused and we thank you for your understanding."

Air Seychelles Bans Galaxy Note 7 Smartphones Onboard All Air Seychelles Aircraft


Following the global recall by Samsung of its Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones, Air Seychelles, as other international airlines, is enforcing a total ban on these devices on board its aircraft, both Twin Otter and Airbus fleet, as some phones have been installed with faulty lithium batteries, which present a risk of combustion and fire.

Six Senses Zil Pasyon Opens - A Stunning Seychelles Setting on Félicité Island


Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas announces the opening of its first property in Seychelles,  Six Senses Zil Pasyon. Its setting is the private island of Félicité, which has a prime location  outside the cyclone belt and offers perpetual summer. The resort occupies one  third of the  total land. It is a 20-minute helicopter journey to Félicité or approximately 30 nautical miles (55 kilometers) northeast of the Seychelles International Airport, which is located on the main  island of Mahé.
