Seychelles Tourism Board adopts new format for roadshow across three Indian cities supplying the most visitors to the islands


The Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) office in India organised a three-city roadshow in Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai from September 18 to 22, 2017.
Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai send some of the highest numbers of visitors to Seychelles each year. The three cities are also home to travel trade partners that facilitate travel for most holidaymakers from the northern and western parts of India.

More trade partners join the 2017 GCC roadshow further positioning Seychelles in the Middle East


Further improving knowledge of the Seychelles’ products in the Middle East region, allowing the trade to strengthen relations with existing partners, as well as discover new products and partners -- such was the outcome of the 2017 Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) roadshow, organised by the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB).

Spearheaded by the STB Dubai office, the roadshow held from October 8 to 11, targeted the United Arab Emirates’ cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as well as two other Gulf countries -- Bahrain and Kuwait.

The hotel will always try to give assigned rooms before 15.00 but this is not always possible. Should clients require the room earlier or later than the times above then they may need to make bookings for the night in advance or an additional night upon departure.

The Chief Executive of the national airline of Seychelles, Roy Kinnear, has resigned and will be leaving his role on December 31, 2017. The Chairman of the Air Seychelles board Mr Jean Weeling-Lee confirmed on Tuesday that Mr Kinnear is leaving to pursue a further opportunity.

The Seychelles Tourism Board Attracts New Partners as it Stages Another Successful Nordics Roadshow



The Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) took to the road from September 25 to 29, hosting its fourth dedicated roadshow across five Nordic cities.

The 2017 Nordic roadshow led by STB’s Marketing Director for the Nordics region, Karen Confait, started in Oslo moving to Helsinki, Copenhagen, Stockholm ending in Gothenburg.

The Seychelles authorities and Air France Discuss Coordinated Approach Ahead of the French Carrier's Return to the Island Nation



The Seychelles authorities have started discussions with Air France following the French carrier's announcement that it will be operating thrice-weekly flights to Seychelles as from next year.


Air France will start flying to the Indian Ocean archipelago on May 5, 2018, using its new sister airline 'Joon.'

A reminder to the public and trade partners that the Coco de Mer Hotel and Black Parrot Suites on Praslin Island, Seychelles, will be closing for renovations on the 20th November 2017 and will reopen on the 1st February 2018.

Seychelles Welcomes First of Three Scheduled Charter Flights from Tianjin, China and Treats Visitors to a Special Welcome on World Tourism Day


Visitors who landed at the Seychelles’ international airport on Wednesday September 27, 2017 were treated to an extra special welcome as it was World Tourism Day. The visitors were offered a variety of gift items, all depicting some aspects of the Seychelles islands, from the hands of the Seychelles Tourism Board’s information officers, as soon they walked into the arrival lounge. A local cultural troupe was also present performing traditional dances of the island nation.
