Hotel Updates: Six Senses Zil Pasyon

Six Senses Zil Pasyon Debuts Video: Reconnect with nature on Félicité Island

Six Senses Zil Pasyon has released a video showcasing the unique beauty of Félicité, the lushly forested granitic island it calls home and its captivating surroundings. Woven into the video is the story of a family, experiencing many of the out-of-the-ordinary activities that Six Senses Zil Pasyon has to offer.

The arrival by helicopter is a truly awe-inspiring start to any memorable stay, with a scenic 20-minute flight from the Seychelles’ main island of Mahé, but that is just the beginning of the many once-in-a-lifetime fantastic encounters on Félicité.

Known as an ecological jewel of Seychelles, Félicité Island has undergone an intensive restoration project, recreating and restoring the natural habitat of the island. Home to the indigenous Coco de Mer palm trees, guests can hike to the heart of the island and discover one of the world’s most unique plant species. Sea turtle nests dot the resort’s three beaches, providing guests the memorable opportunity to meet a green or hawksbill turtle creating her nest or look on as the baby hatchlings make their inaugural journey to the ocean.

The giant tortoises native to the archipelago can be found on several islands nearby, and guests may take advantage of the various complimentary excursions to neighbouring islands to get a taste of the Seychelles during their stay.

Water activities abound with unmatched snorkelling and diving sites surrounding the shores. The resort’s own coral nursery sits just off of Anse Peniche, attracting exotic marine life, including eagle rays and parrot fish. Kayaks and standup paddleboards are also available for the more adventurous guests looking to explore rustic beaches on nearby islands.

Dining options are plentiful, and the video showcases a few of the options available by walking from Lakanbiz, the resort’s own rum bar featuring home-infused rums, through Island Café, the restaurant at the heart of the resort, to the popular destination Top Hill, where guests are invited to enjoy breath-taking sunset views over the Indian Ocean while relaxing in oversized beanbag chairs.

“There is so much to explore when visiting Six Senses Zil Pasyon,” says Hilton Hastings, general manager.  “Whether you love snorkelling or prefer to go hiking, Félicité offers something suitable for everyone. Additionally, our island is ideally located, allowing guests to experience the very best of Six Senses, the Seychelles and to discover more of the archipelago nation’s 115 islands during their stay with us.”
