Hotel Updates: The H Resort Beau Vallon Beach Seychelles

The H Resort Beau Vallon Beach Seychelles Receives its SSTL Certification

Earlier this week the H Resort Beau Vallon Beach became one of the latest hospitality establishments to join the ranks of responsible & sustainable businesses in the Seychelles.

The resort received its 'Seychelles Sustainable Tourism Label' certification from Minister Didier Dogley - Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports & Marine of Seychelles and his team on Monday July 16, 2018.

The resort which opened in 2015 is soon to celebrate its 3rd year in August and has made many provisions for its sustainable and environmentally friendly business practice in such a short time span. Prominent amongst its initiatives are the resort's food composter, lagoon maintenance and rain-water saving and water conservation techniques employed across the property as well as in the staff accommodations on its grounds.

Commenting on the occasion, H Resort's General Manager Johannes Steyn had the following to say; "With the entire world realizing the importance of being green and how wrong practices affect the environment, it is necessary that recognitions like these driven by the local government reflect the determination and endeavors of businesses like us to be answerable and responsible to our stakeholders and to the nation we operate in.
