Suspension of Ethiopian Services to and from Seychelles

Ethiopian Airlines has announced that it will suspend its services to Seychelles effective 5th March 2014 for commercial reasons. Ethiopian’s last services to Seychelles will be ET 879 on March 3rd 2014.

Air Austral announces direct air services from Reunion to Seychelles

Air Austral, the French airline of the Indian Ocean, has announced its return on the Seychelles route after a one year break. The new La Reunion-Seychelles flight operations will be on a Boeing 737-800, twice a week from 3rd June 2014.

The two flights are scheduled to depart Reunion every Monday and Wednesday at 1920hrs to arrive in Seychelles at 2200hrs, and return to Reunion the following day at 0955hrs.

Santa Claus flies to Praslin to cheer NCC children

Constance Lemuria brought a smile to the faces of some 20 children from the National Council for Children on Praslin on Christmas Day. Instead of riding his traditional sleigh pulled by reindeers, Santa Claus arrived by helicopter with his bag of gifts to distribute to the children. A lunch was also organised for these children at the “Legend” restaurant.

North Island, Seychelles - From 9 to 12 December 2013, North Island closed its doors to paying guests once again to accommodate and host a group of Seychellois children for another Children In The Wilderness (CITW) camp in collaboration with the National Council for Children (NCC) and with the support of Mason’s Travel.Mason’s Travel provided the transfers of the children to and from the island aboard their catamaran Anahita, as they have done for the past four years.

Air Seychelles announces flights to Paris

Air Seychelles announces plans to return to Paris in February 2014, subject to regulatory approval. 

The National Airline of the Republic of Seychelles will operate two flights per week to Paris-Orly via Abu Dhabi with an Airbus A330-200 aircraft, configured with 18 flat-bed Business Class seats and 236 Economy seats.
