Seychelles Welcomes it's First Tapas Lounge Bar
Le Duc De Praslin has just launched its latest food and beverage outlet over this weekend. The “Chill Out” Tapas Lounge Bar is a unique concept designed to provide guests (tourists and locals) with an entertainment venue that will allow the patrons to meet and socialize in a relaxed atmosphere. It is a first for Seychelles and is a welcome addition to the product offerings of the country’s budding hospitality landscape.
The chic and sophisticated lounge bar enjoys one of the most outstanding settings, on the beach of Cote D’Or, with stunning views of the turquoise waters and nearby islands beyond.
The new tapas lounge bar is located at the top of the highly reputed ‘Café des Arts’ fine dining seafood restaurant, which is also part of the dining outlets of Le Duc de Praslin.

“Our new addition complements the existing product offerings and puts Le Duc on a new level, setting a new benchmark amongst the 4 Star establishments to even match the 5 star products and provides the local community of both Praslin & Mahe with a new concept and entertainment venue to enjoy”, enthuses Robert Payet, General Manager.
The Seychelles Minister for Tourism & Culture, Alain St. Ange congratulated the hotel’s management on this groundbreaking event “It gives me great satisfaction to see a home-grown, hospitality product such as Le Duc de Praslin evolving to acquire such stature on the Seychelles scene with its constant stream of innovations. I wish this latest addition to its impressive suite of amenities – the very first Seychelles Tapas Lounge Bar – every success and hope that it provides inspiration for the growth of other, ground-breaking products to enrich our Seychelles hospitality experience,” the Minister said.

“Chill Out” Tapas Lounge Bar serving a range of tapas, beers and Spanish wines in an alfresco setting is open from 1800hrs to 0100hrs daily, except Mondays & 1400hrs to 2000hrs on Sundays as from Tuesday 10th February.
