Airline Updates: Ethiopian Airlines

Ethiopian Airlines Shows Support for Seychelles Tourism Academy with Signing of MOU

The Seychelles Tourism Academy has agreed to use Ethiopian Airlines as one of the airlines it uses for its passenger transportation services, while in return the airline will provide a discounted fare and other privileges to the institution.

The terms and conditions are set forth in a memorandum of understanding which was signed this week between the Seychelles Tourism Academy and Ethiopian Airlines.

Present at the signing ceremony were the Minister for Tourism and Culture, Alain St.Ange; Principal Secretary for Tourism Anne Lafortune; the Chairperson of the academy’s board of governance, John Stravens; and members of the institution’s management.

Signing the accord were the Principal of the Seychelles Tourism Academy, Flavien Joubert, and the Area Manager of Ethiopian Airlines based in Seychelles, Meseret Tekalign.

Mr. Joubert thanked Ethiopian Airlines for the new partnership formed. He added that many negotiations have been done with the airline.

"The Seychelles Tourism Academy needs the support of its partners for it to be successful," Mr. Flavien Joubert said.

Mrs. Tekalign on her part said the signed document will surely take the longstanding cooperation and commitment between the academy and the airline to greater heights.
