Hotel Updates: CaranaBeach

Mason’s Travel Congratulates CaranaBeach on their Opening

Mason's Travel, members of the press and tourism trade partners yesterday attended the official opening ceremony at the new boutique hotel of Carana Beach. It was a balmy afternoon and the hotel welcomed guests both local & international of which 50 of them formed part of international members of the press attending Carnaval this weekend.

The hotel was officially opened by the Minister of Tourism & Culture, Mr Alain St.Ange with a ribbon-cutting and unveiling of the plaque intimate ceremony located at the main hotel entrance. The management of the hotel were doubly delighted to conduct the opening on the occasion of the sixth International Carnival of Victoria.

"The carnival is an occasion for people of different cultures to meet, share and discover, towards greater understanding of others. In much the same way, CaranaBeach was conceived to celebrate the warm, old fashioned spirit of Seychellois hospitality, for our own guests to discover and understand the jovial island lifestyle of our archipelago.
That concept has informed every aspect of the hotel: the design of the 40 chalets that overlook the bay; the locally inspired cuisine; the use of natural materials and ingredients in the spa, kitchen and décor", says General Manager Cyrille Carofano.

"Through the creation of CaranaBeach, we've done our best to create a reflection of the raw, unprocessed character of the Seychelles, and we hope you will come away with that same impression", Alan Mason said.

The Mason's Travel team congratulates the CaranaBeach team and wishes them the best for a prosperous future.
