Austrian Airlines will initiate flight service to the Seychelles starting with its winter 2017/18 flight schedule.
As of October 25, 2017, it will fly non-stop every Wednesday from Vienna to the vacation island in the Indian Ocean, returning to Vienna on Thursdays.

Air Seychelles Links Up to East Asia With New Codeshare Connections to Hong Kong and Singapore
Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, has expanded its codeshare agreement with Jet Airways to offer guests convenient one-stop connections to two major cities in East Asia.
The deal enables air travellers to fly with Air Seychelles and Jet Airways between Seychelles and Hong Kong or Singapore via the Indian city of Mumbai, with both legs combined on one single ticket to make the journey convenient.

During the renovation, the roof was replaced with special fire-proof materials, the stairway was widened and made more gradual, the open kitchen is now larger and more convenient for staff and protection from the wind and rain was improved.
A Great Year for Sooty Terns on Bird Island
This year has been one of the best for Bird Island's Sooty Tern Colony, with more birds nesting than in the past few years. By June, the main part of the colony was packed with birds nesting at high densities- up to six nests per square metre. More birds were still arriving in the month of July and occupying the open plains in the Northern part of the Island.
