Kempinski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare Awarded Third Consecutive Sustainable Tourism Label
This week Kempinski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare was informed that they have once again been awarded the Seychelles Sustainable Tourism Label (SSTL). This is the third consecutive time that the hotel has been recoginsed for their efforts to mainstream sustainability practices into their business operations to safeguard the biodiversity and culture of Seychelles.
The hotel celebrated by hosting a green-themed reception for all employees to thank them for their contributions and dedication towards achieving such a commendable goal.
The SSTL is a voluntary sustainable tourism management and certification programme that encourages, monitors and recoginises hotels in Seychelles that implement more efficient and sustainable ways of doing business. As tourism in Seychelles depends largely on the natural environment and pristine marine life, the importance of sustainable practices is very high.
